İLKAY UNAY-GAILHARD
I studied at Burg Giebichenstein Art and Design University (Germany) as a guest student in Graphic Department (Prof. Thomas Rug, lecturer in woodcut print: Franca Bartholomäi), and participated master level printmaking lectures at Isık University, Istanbul (Turkey) by Prof. Dr. Süleyman Saim Tekcan. In 2015, I got invitation as an artist-in-Residence at the Istanbul Museum of Graphic Arts (Turkey).
I’m an active member of the Atelier aux Lilas for Typography and Printmaking (France), the Professional Association of Visual Artists Saxony-Anhalt, BBK (Germany), and the Bellefonte Art Museum (USA).
Currently, I’m travelling extensively and living in Grenoble (France), and Halle (Germany).
